In January 2000 The Colosseum Project relaunched as Luna Nera with a site-specific exhibition in a former wood-mouldings factory in East London.
Using the detritus of old industrial machinery and leavings, together with the structure of the space along with found objects and elements such as water and fire, the exhibition marked the passing of one of the last factories in the Stoke Newington area, which has been gentrified and made almost entirely residential.
